Hydrobags

Hydrobags

Hydrobags

These containers are made from high-strength woven geotextiles, designed to contain soil-derived material and create heavy-duty elements used in slope stabilization and channel protection for riparian defenses. Depending on the technical requirements of the project, they can be made of polypropylene or polyester, ensuring adaptability and high performance according to the needs of each project.
Hydrobags

Advantages / Benefits

  • Efficient solution using local materials: Allows the construction of riparian barriers with local materials (soil, sand, and gravel), reducing the need for external inputs.
  • Structural stability with great strength: Capable of stabilizing slopes due to the high-modulus woven geotextile’s great strength and high fill weights.
  • Fast and cost-effective installation: They are easy to install, reducing labor costs and project installation time.
  • Adaptability to any terrain: Their flexibility allows them to adapt to different shapes and surfaces, facilitating their use in uneven or hard-to-reach areas.
  • Permeability for better hydraulic control: They allow flows to enter and exit.

Applications

  • Riparian Defenses
  • Slope Stabilization
  • Erosion Control
  • Flow Diversion and Channeling
