It is a product designed to absorb and distribute stresses caused by cracks in existing pavements, effectively reducing their propagation to the new tread layer. Its flexible structure allows it to adapt to different surfaces and cope with complex resurfacing conditions, making it an ideal solution for streets, avenues, highways, and roads, as well as for the construction of new roads.
In addition, it improves the structural performance of the pavement, extends its useful life, and contributes to greater efficiency in road rehabilitation processes.
Advantages / Benefits
Greater durability with every application: Improves structural integrity and extends the life of pavements.
Long-term cost reduction: Reduces maintenance costs with the addition of a low-cost geosynthetic.
Fast installation: Simple and high-performance.
Better adhesion for greater effectiveness: The additional geotextile provides greater adhesion to the binder and surface.
Applications

Route 40 Project - Llanos APP, Colombia
Route 40 Project - Llanos APP, Colombia
Route 40 Project - Llanos APP, Colombia
The project consisted of pavement rehabilitation and structural reinforcement, involving partial milling and replacement with hot dense mix (HDM). Considering that the accumulated thickness of previous asphalt layers generated a significant amount of material remaining with usable structural potential, TDM paving geocomposite was incorporated to maximize this existing capacity and prevent crack propagation into the new layer. Thus, its flexible design effectively adapted to the texture of the milling, thus preventing crack reflection into the new asphalt layer.
