Certified Metal Barriers

Brochure

Certified Metal Barriers

Certified safety barriers are vehicle containment systems tested according to international standards such as the U.S. NCHRP Report 350 and the European EN 1317, in line with the provisions of Directive No. 007-2008-MTC/02. These tests validate key parameters such as containment level, impact severity, redirecting capacity, and working width, ensuring reliable performance in critical road situations, with the goal of saving lives and reducing the risk of serious injuries to drivers and vehicle occupants.
Certified Metal Barriers

Benefits

High level of vehicle containment
Designed to withstand severe impacts, offering a proven capacity to contain vehicles in critical situations.

Safe vehicle redirection after impact
Guides the vehicle in a controlled manner after a collision, reducing the risk of encroaching into adjacent lanes and potential secondary crashes.

Greater protection for occupants
Reduces the severity of impacts compared to traditional rigid systems, significantly decreasing injuries to users.

Applications

  • Median barriers for lane separation on highways
  • Protection of critical infrastructure
  • Bridge-edge barriers over reinforced concrete structures
  • Protection in areas with risk of falls and drop-offs
